Meet Mike Heist—a veteran in the neon industry, and he’s responsible for making some of the most iconic signage in the city.

In the film titled ‘10 Seconds’, he introduces his neon signage-bending job and gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how these lighted tubes are made.

Produced by creative studio The Pressure, this short complements renowned graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister’s talk on ‘Design and Happiness’ during Design Week Portland.
