Bothered by how technology has made people “dull”, London-based street photographer, who goes by the name of Babycakes Romero, decided to photograph a series showcasing people who are in the company of others, yet they are constantly looking at their phones.
Called ‘The Death Of Conversation’, the series forces us to examine our behavior and see if we have lost our ability to interact with those around us.
Romero hopes that by looking at his images, we will “break-free” from the addiction to our smartphones and focus more on face-to-face interactions.
