Italy-based Alessandro Isola, previously featured on our site for his ‘Stumble Upon Coffee Table’ has designed something else that’s beautifully simple in design and gorgeous for any space.
The Stumble Upon Sofa is created out of what appears to be a ‘ridge’ in a carpet that is not properly smoothed out.
Isola magnifies this imperfection, making the ridge large enough to create a sofa.
According to Isola’s explanation on his website, “The concept follows on from the same creative curiosity and desire for ‘design disorder,’ that conceived of the Stumble Upon Coffee Table, with its turned up corner that folds to a functional surface.”
