Bicycles With Large Car-Sized Frames Show Drivers Just How Much Space Cars Take

Latvian bicyling organization Let’s Bike It wanted to show the rest of their country just how ridiculous it is to commute in a car alone.

Thus, on International No Car Day (celebrated on September 22), cyclists from the organization created a large, car-sized structure around each of their bicycles to drive the point of how it much space a single individual takes up during their commute.

Through this simple activism stunt, the cyclists communicated that bicycles not only help to reduce traffic congestion by saving space, but also brings other benefits to the environment and to the self.
