Artist Gives A Run-Down Farmhouse A Rainbow-Colored Facelift

Over the past few years, artist Kat O’Sullivan has been transforming a run-down farmhouse, by giving it a rainbow-colored facelift.

With the help of her friends, they turned the 175-year-old farmhouse, now called ‘Calico’, into a whimsical and psychedelic structure—the kind of house that you would only expect to see in a fairy tale.

Originally built in 1840, it was in a state of neglect when O’Sullivan first purchased it in 2009. Located in the middle of the woods near High Falls, New York, the rainbow-colored home now stands beautifully among the forested surroundings.

Check out some photos of the house below, or visit O’Sullivan’s website for more.
