Designer Kylie Mangles from design website Freshly Squeez’d has created a realistic, half-dissected 3D cake of Ralph Wiggum, a character from The Simpsons.
Her elaborate, albeit disturbing, cake called ‘Cutout Ralph’ was created as a submission for Threadcakes, an online contest that challenges people to bake cakes based on original designs found on Threadless.
For her cake, Mangles referenced an illustration done by graphic design artist Erick Flores.
Using red velvet cakes, buttercream, Rice Krispies treats and fondant, Mangles took five days to prepare and assemble the huge cake before chowing it down with her roommate.
