Illustrator Hand-Letters Funny Online Headlines Designed To Attract Clicks

Based in Orlando, Florida, illustrator and hand-lettering artist Shauna Lynn Panczyszyn has recently embarked on a new project titled “Clickbait”.

Seeking to “chronicle and letter some of the most ridiculous clickbait articles”, this project highlights some of the blatantly attention-grabbing headlines on the internet that are designed to encourage people to click on them.

According to the artist, these eye-catching links are “often paid for by advertisers or generate income based on the number of clicks”.

So far, she has headlines such as “How did you die in your past life?” and “Starbucks contest to offer free coffee for 30 years”.

Follow the on-going project here—what are some of the more absurd clickbait links that you have clicked on lately?
