Minimalist Posters That Depict The World’s Cities In Three Distinct Colors

Designer Nick Barclay,, whom we featured recently, has created a new series of minimalist, illustrated posters that feature the dominant colors found in the world’s major cities.

For his series ‘Three Color Cities’, Barclay distilled the cities’ infrastructure into three distinct colors that “best represented” each city.

For instance, in the New York poster, the cabs and the Statue of Liberty were reflected in its bold colors, while the London poster uses a prominent shade of red that reminded us of its iconic telephone boxes.

Do you agree with the color palettes that Barclay used for these cities?

Check the posters out below, or head to the designer's page to view the rest.
