Visual effects artist Allen Hemberger has embarked on a gastronomy project titled ‘The Alinea Project’.
After eating at the Alinea restaurant—which specializes in the culinary arts and is known for creating dishes that are fun, imaginative and delicious, such as edible helium balloons—he decided to recreate and cook every single recipe from its cookbook.
His quest does not just involve cooking, but also consists of running around to acquire unusual ingredients and hand-making tools and equipments that could not be found on the internet.
