London filmmakers Brian Fairbairn and Karl Eccleston make fascinating work that explores what English sounds like to non-English speakers.

The 4-minute film titled Skwerl starts like a regular film, but as you get to the middle part, it becomes nearly impossible to figure out what the actors are saying.

The film’s storyline is centered around the conversation that a couple is having over a meal, presumably with something to do with a birthday.
