Germany-based visual artist Sakir Gökcebag seeks to give a different, less ordinary perspective to commonplace, everyday objects through his work.
In ‘Translayers’, a wall art installation project, he has transformed the humblest of household items—the toilet roll—into stunning art pieces featuring intricate and elegant patterns.
While most of the pieces were mounted on walls in drapes, one stood in the center of the exhibition space, resembling a giant mop made of cascading sheets of toilet paper.
This proves that by looking at things just a little differently, it is possible to find the extraordinary in the ordinary.
