In a new campaign for Toyota Belgium, street artist Ernest Zacharevic and ad agency Happiness Brussels have collaborated to remind drivers to look behind when reversing their cars.
The campaign, titled ‘Protect what’s behind you’, highlights the dangers of maneuvering in reverse as children often get injured or killed when drivers fail to spot them behind their vehicles.
To remind drivers to check their rear before reversing their vehicles, Zacharevic painted lifelike images of children playing in a parking lot in Brussels, with the message ‘Protect what’s behind you’.
The campaign also highlights the benefits of a rearview camera—like how it would assist drivers in spotting a person behind their vehicle.
