Illustrator Federico Babina, known for his imaginative artworks based on architecture, returns with ‘Archilife’, a new series that imagines what the homes of prominent Hollywood film stars, such as Marilyn Monroe and Woody Allen, would look like if they were designed by famous architects.
Using a warm and inviting color palette, Babina creatively paired these stars with architect-designed abodes, furnished with designer furniture, that seem to match their respective personalities.
He even imagined them engaging in normal activities, such as lounging by the daybed or vacuuming the house.
Would you have expected to see Audrey Hepburn meditating in the middle of her Eames-designed house, or James Dean busying himself with chores in his Rietveld crib?
Take a look at Babina’s imaginative work below, or head to his page to view the rest in the series.
