Based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, a company named Ecobird has created “Ecofarm”, a two-in-one micro ecosystem that features a miniature herb garden and a self-cleaning fish tank.
The two distinct parts of the Ecofarm serve to support each other—the dirty water from the fish tank is pumped up to fertilize the plants, which in turn clean the water.
The Ecofarm kit comes with all the materials you would need to start growing your own healthy food—all you have to do is to add the fish of your choice.
