PANTONE’s iOS Keyboard Lets You Customize Your iPhone In 11 Different Colors

If staying in a PANTONE hotel is out of your reach, how about a PANTONE keyboard instead?

The color swatch company has partnered with third-party keyboard app maker Brightkey to release an iOS-only color pack that lets you customize your iPhone’s keyboard from 11 different PANTONE shades.

John Brownlee of Fast Company tried it out recently and professed to being “disappointed”, lamenting that it was a missed opportunity to release a truly innovative product, such as a “color dictionary”.

The PANTONE keyboard is currently in private beta mode but will be available soon for existing Brightkey users running iOS 8; you can get the Brightkey keyboard from iTunes if you don’t have it.

Read Brownlee’s early review of the PANTONE keyboard here. Do you agree with him or are you satisfied with being able to dress your keyboard in different colors?
