How often have you heard millennials being labeled as ‘self-obsessed’, ‘apathetic’ or any other similar descriptives?

Charity-driving service Welzoo collaborated with creative agency Column Five to produce a video rebutting these stereotypes.

Titled ‘The Millennial Rebuttal’, the video is part of a campaign to make charitable giving accessible to all.

Co-founder of Welzoo, Zach Firestone, told Mashable, “We can’t escape the headlines about how technology continues to pull us apart, and how millennials, the first digital native generation, are in the driver’s seat. Yet the counterargument seems fairly easy, because when you look around, you see young people doing amazing things to improve our world every day.”

He added that the video doesn’t just apply to millennials, but rather how much change all generations can effect.

Firestone said, “This is a story about why people are awesome. Things have changed, sure, but people haven’t.”

What do you think?
