YouTube channel Vsauce is back with another interesting video—this time, they leap into the defense of everyone’s favorite typeface they love to hate, Comic Sans.

In the video, ‘A Defense of Comic Sans’, Michael Stevens of Vsauce tries to defend the vilified Comics Sans by describing its background and how it actually ‘works’.

He states that the font is so ‘hated’ that it is ironically ‘popular’ and that Comics Sans is the “second most complained” about topic on Twitter—the first being Justin Bieber.

He also provides us with several intriguing typography trivia—stuff that any serious typographer would be interested to find out.
