To make yourself seem ‘cool’, the app fakes a social life for you, by ‘lying’ on your behalf and giving you fake bragging rights.
From an ‘Artsy Fartsy’ night to ‘Hanging out with cool kids’, CouchCachet carefully chooses venues your friends have never checked into before, and posts pictures of places you are deemed to be at on Instagram.
