Apple's design chief, Sir Jonathan Ive has been awarded a gold Blue Peter badge. The award was presented to him during a special Blue Peter edition on gadgets.
For those of you wondering, Blue Peter is the world's longest running children's television show in the U.K. This award signifies the importance of great design and technology that Apple has brought to this generation of children.
Ive called the honor "absolutely incredible," and in turn, presented the show with an aluminum Blue Peter badge. This badge had taken Ive and his team ten hours to produce.
