Knitting street artists The Fastener and Deadly Knitshade of Knit The City has teamed up with car-maker Toyota to yarnstorm—“the art of enhancing a public space or object with graffiti knitting”—Brixton, London.
Featuring a unique collection of yarnstorming artworks, the project—part of Toyota’s “Positive Power” campaign to promote its Prius hybrid cars—is designed to make Londoners feel happy and positive.
“Bombing” the streets of Brixton with adorable knitted characters,—like smiling flowers, insects and snails—the unique project is definitely a great way to bring a smile to one’s face.
