Just when you thought that Lady Gaga couldn't possibly wear anything more outrageous and eclectic than what she has previously managed, she proves you wrong.
This time she manages to pull-off some very tall (and very chunky) pointe shoes thanks to the creativity of Japanese designer Noritaka Tatehana.
The severely augmented custom-made pointe shoes stand at 18-inches in height and was worn by the songstress in her music video, "Marry The Night."
The sky-high shoes represent the culmination of art, haute couture and ballet.
They are currently being displayed at the Fashion Institute of Technology Museum's "Shoe Obsession" exhibition in New York, and will be available for viewing till 13 April 2013.
