‘The Legion of Real Life Supervillains’ is a project by Brazilian graphic designer Butcher Billy, in which he reimagines real-life bad guys as comic book villains.
The illustrated project features Mark Zuckerberg as ‘Loki’, Adolf Hitler as ‘Galactus’, former US President George Bush as ‘Two-Face’ and Osama bin Laden as ‘The Green Goblin’.
“This series is an experiment where a dictator, a psycho, a murderer (sometimes they are the whole package), or even a suspicious figure from real life, is mashed with a comic bad guy—strangely related some way or the other with his counterpart,” explained Billy.
“The depressing thing? Realizing that if the comic book supervillains were actually the ones threatening real life, the world wouldn’t be such a bad place.”
Billy also created ‘The Superhero Media Crossover Project’, where Marvel superheroes crossed over from comic books to real-life.
