Impressive Street Art On Abandoned Buildings In The Middle Of Nowhere

Instead of showcasing his work in busy urban centers where they are likely to have a larger audience, Norwegian street artist Pøbel has created a series of beautiful graffiti art on the walls of abandoned buildings on the isolated Lofoten islands in northern Norway.

Set against the stunning natural landscapes on these islands, the artist’s thought-provoking, large-scale murals often tells intriguing stories that link his artworks to the wildness of their surroundings.

From tarnished machine parts and the sides of long-empty houses to an animal carcass found on the beach, he leaves his artistic mark on the most unexpected of places, to be seen by few eyes.
