To generate discussion about food waste, Poland-based Studio Rygalik created ‘baguette tables’.
By using the stale loaves of the long, narrow French bread, and cutting them at various lengths—the leveled, exposed ends of the baguettes were presented as the table tops, with multiple longer pieces as table legs to support the structure.
The result is a visually-appealing furniture piece that looks good enough to eat, but stale enough to upset your tummy.
