Kentucky-based graphic designer Kody Christian’s series of video game-inspired typography prints will put a smile on any gamer or graphic designer’s face.
Using words, phrases, and shapes that are associated with each video game, he creates images that give the featured characters an updated, modern look—for instance, the yellow head of Pac-Man is formed with written words of his chanting noises.
The print series includes typographic renditions of Sonic the Hedgehog, BioShock, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Mega man, and Pokémon.
