California-based medical marijuana collective Aphrodite Group has created ‘Foria’, a marijuana-infused oil that aims to make sex more pleasurable for women.
Touted as a first-of-its kind “sensual enhancement oil” for women, the vegan and 100% natural aphrodisiac is touted as gluten-free and sugar-free. It is also free from chemicals and additives.
It is available in 30ml and 5ml spray bottles, and is made from a blend of liquid coconut oil and lab-tested cannabis oil from marijuana grown in California.
The coconut oil ensures it is edible, and its low pH level promotes healthy skin and maintains an ideal vaginal pH, which fights yeast and bacteria.
According to the company, it is not meant to be used like a traditional lubricant, but should be applied as a pre-lube at least 30 minutes before sexual intercourse.
It is currently available to Californian residents, but the company plans to cater to customers in Colorado and Washington.
