Artist Fred Tomaselli changes the serious mood of The New York Times by replacing its front-page photos with colorful and eccentric collages that poke fun at current news and world politics.
Through his work, Tomaselli literally adds color to depressing news by filling up flooded city roads with bold colors, and adding pretty floral motifs to give convicted frauds a guilt trip.
Even famous politicians are not spared, as they become the subjects of his quirky illustrations.
