Architect Firm Creates A Life-Size Indoor Maze In A Museum

Copenhagen and New York-based architect firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has partnered with the National Building Museum in Washington to create a giant, life-size indoor maze.

Constructed from birch plywood, the walls of the maze measure at 18-feet high. The maze is presented in a concave manner, with walls that slope towards the center.

Visitors to the museum can go into the maze and once they have reached the center, they can have an overview perspective of the installation.

The maze will remain open at the National Building Museum until 1 September, 2014
