Japanese artist Megumi Igarashi, who goes by the name of rokudenashi-ko or good-for-nothing girl, was arrested on Monday for creating a series of projects based on three-dimensional modeling data of her vagina.
Out of curiosity to know how a vagina should look, the artist embarked on her first crowd-funded project to create a kayak modeled after her vagina—thereafter, she continued producing other works, such as dioramas, a mascot, and even iphone covers.
She titled her projects “Deco-Man”, combining the words “manko”, which means vagina in Japanese, and “deco” was derived from “decorate”—she hopes to “make pussy more casual and pop”.
