London-based Japanese designer Tomomi Sayuda lost her 37-years-old father to suicide caused by work stress. This incident triggered her to come up with a novel stress reliever concept for office workers.
Named ‘Desktop Fireworks’, ordinary-looking office supplies can be transformed into a bubble and confetti machine, disco light emitter and music player at the push of a button.
Sayuda cautions to only use in “times of extreme stress”; the symphony of light and noise is designed to produce some form of entertainment relief for stress at work.
