Fascinating Acrylic Paintings Folded To Add Depth And Create Optical Illusions

New York-based Brazilian artist Marcelo Daldoce produces creative artworks that cause optical illusions.

He uses acrylic paint on paper to draw portraits and proceeds to fold the paper in different patterns to give an unusual look to his artworks.

Daldoce stated on his website that he likes “to go beyond the conventional two-dimensional landscape of paper and canvas, bringing life to a flat surface”.
