Infographic: 12 Myths About Sex





If you think that penis size determines how pleasurable sex is, or that watching porn is detrimental to a relationship, think again.



Both are common misconceptions, according to this infographic by The Institute for the Study of Urologic Diseases that seeks to debunk 12 popular myths about sex.



They include the belief that masturbation stops when someone enters a relationship; in fact masturbation is a natural behavior that has no age boundaries, with 85% of men and 45% of women in steady relationships stating they masturbate.



Another common misperception is that men are always up for sex—this is not true due to reasons such as tiredness, the need to develop intimacy and an emotional relationship first, and the desire for a more erotic context or conditions.
