Lovely Illustrations Show The Little Moments Of Love That People Experience

Freelance visual illustrator Simone Massoni has come up with these sketches for The New Yorker’s Love (and Old Flames) issues, which were published on 9 and 16 June 2014.

These illustrations do not tell a story, but rather show how people experience love in different ways. Massoni has also taken great care to show the attitudes that people have towards love and the little moments that they share.

Under the art direction of Chris Curry, Massoni also used black and white for these illustrations, only using red if necessary. The illustrator also thought of himself as an invisible spectator, peeking into the lives of these people.
