Dusseldorf-based Swiss performance artist Milo Moiré, who previously dropped paint-filled eggs from her vagina to create art, recently made headlines again for an equally controversial act.
Titled ‘The Script System’, her bold stunt saw her strip naked to attend the Art Basel show in Basel, Switzerland, last month. Instead of donning clothes, she had the names of the pieces of clothing that she would normally wear painted on her body.
According to Moiré, her performance was inspired by “the script theory of cognitive psychology”, and was an attempt to disrupt the everyday routines or “scripts” that most of us follow without much awareness of our environment.
During the hour-long journey to the event, Moiré walked down the street, rode the bus and lined up for a ticket to enter the venue as passers-by stared and took photographs—her stunt came to an end when she was ordered by the authorities to put on clothes or leave.

What do you think—was it artistic or do you think she is simply an exhibitionist?
