Paintings Of Mutated Naked Bodies Show Ongoing After-Effects Of A War (NSFW)

Berlin-based Vietnamese painter Nguyen Xuan Huy has painted a series of artworks that highlights the ongoing disruptive effects of the Vietnam War.

His body of works fuse pop art aesthetics and social iconography, showing the devastating effects of Agent Orange, a poisonous defoliant used in the war to destroy food sources.

Twisted naked bodies, mutations, guns and dead animals are the focus of his work that mimics famous painter's artworks such as “Matisse's Dance, Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights and Michelangelo's Creation of Adam”.
