Brazilian photographer Renato Stockler gave us an alternative, aerial view of the soccer fields nestled within Sao Paulo’s urban landscape with his project, “Terrão de Cima”.
His images often highlight the stark contrast between the soccer fields and their surrounding areas.
According to Stockler, such soccer fields are becoming a rare sight due to “property speculation and land occupation”. He even regards these soccer fields as an “oasis” in the congested city.
