Italian photographer Giulio Musardo’s self-portraits invite you to join him in his imaginary world filled with surreal and whimsical elements.
Musardo usually plans his shoot before photographing his self-portraits, including details such as birds, clouds and the surrounding nature.
With the use of digital manipulation, he adds these elements and adjusts the colors and lighting, resulting in the creation of a dramatic, fantasy-like world.
In an interview with The Modern Met, 19-year-old Musardo said, “Each one of my photos expresses a moment, …like a parallel world where time stands still.”
