If you find it extremely hard to focus on one task—or get anything done at all—while on the internet, this funny, tongue-in-cheek video produced by The Atlantic should strike a chord with you.

In it, senior editor James Hamblin explains why trying to multi-task by opening many tabs on your browser at once may be the cause of your low productivity—to avoid the negative effect of multi-tasking, he advocates that “single-tasking is the new multi-tasking”, urging viewers to commit to “Tabless Thursday”, and keep only one tab open at a time for the entire day.

Dubbed as “a vacation from distraction”, Tabless Thursday may be been brought across as a humorous concept in this production, but it can potentially be an effective way to prevent your mind from wandering when you are trying to get some work done.
