‘The World’s Tallest Water Slide’ Is The Height Of A 15-Story Building

Located at the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City, the “Verrückt” has been dubbed “the world’s tallest water slide” by its creators—at 168 feet tall, it certainly stands out.



The ultra-thrilling ride can reach a top speed of 60 mph, and features an initial large drop before rising again for a second fall—to “enjoy” this ride, one would be sitting on nothing more than a shallow inflatable tub.



While it is scheduled to be opened to the public this summer, it has been reported that the initial tests using sandbags did not perform very well—the sandbags were actually launched into the air during the ride.



However, as shown in the video below, the first humans to go on the ride have survived.
