Timeless Photos Of Mothers And Their Children Taken 50 Years Ago

Photographer Ken Heyman stumbled on a box of beautiful black-and-white photographs of mothers and their children around the world, which he took 50 years ago, after clearing his storage facility recently.

Heyman shot the photographs for a Pulitzer-nominated book titled Family, which he co-wrote with anthropologist Margaret Mead.

Despite the age of these photos, the emotions shown between mother and child are timeless and relatable—you would not have guessed that they were taken decades ago.
