Artist Laurin Döpfner shows us how ordinary objects look like on the inside—by using an industrial sander.
Döpfner sanded away objects like a wooden log, a camera and a walnut to reveal their inner layers in a fascinating stop-motion video.
Instead of showing the industrial sander grounding up the objects, Döpfner took about 100 different photographs of each object after sanding it layer-by-layer, turning the video into a wonderful work of art.
