Walk-In Kaleidoscope Lets Visitors Change Its Shape By Unzipping Mirror Panels

Japanese designers Masakazu Shirane and Saya Miyazaki has created an award winning, gigantic walk-in kaleidoscope for the Kobe Biennial art container contest.

The kaleidoscope was made up of numerous mirrors connected by zippers, keeping the structure light, soft and easy to transport.

Just like a window, the shape of its surface can be easily changed by closing and opening the mirror panels.
