To help female cyclists feel safer on the roads, London-based designer Will Verity created a lightweight bicycle jacket that lights up when cars and buses get too close to the user.
The back of the jacket contains sensors that send intermittent flashes via LED lights when it detects that vehicles are fast approaching.
This allows both the user and drivers to be cautious as they move on the roads.
With his redesigned bicycle jacket, Verity said that he aims to make drivers view cyclists as people, and not "obstacles" on the road.
