Artist Buries Gold Bars In A Beach For People To Find And Keep

Berlin-based artist Michael Sailstorfer has caused a gold rush at the Folkestone Beach in south-east England.



As part of the Folkstone Triennial—an art event that takes place every three years to change the public's perception of art—Sailstorfer buried 30 gold bars worth US$16,574, in the sands of the beach.
