‘Chess Mating’ is a hand-drawn animation by Australian studio Rubber House for TV network Adult Swim.
It is one of the few shorts that was produced to promote the network and is about the “sordid lives” of chess pieces.
The animation starts off with the Chess King on his laptop, checking out adult videos on “Pawn Hub” and clearly enjoying the “pawnography”. However, his Queen walks in on him and things get confrontational.
