The team at Upworthy had recently put together a chilling collection of last words from the victims who have died under police brutality, these images were created by journalist and filmmaker Shirin-Banou Barghi.
It also detailed the dates and ages of the victims when the incident happened—the team had also complied the backstories to each of these images, of which was the recent case of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. His friend and eyewitness reported that his last words before he laid motionless on the ground were “I don't have a gun. Stop shooting”.
