In honor of World Photo Day which fell on Tuesday, Lytro released an infographic charting the history of modern photography.
The infographic traces the evolution of cameras over the past 175 years, from the first recorded photograph in 1839 and the invention of the Kodak camera in 1884, to the introduction of the Polaroid SX-70 instant camera in 1972 and Lytro’s own modern light field camera which launched in 2011.
