Russian Sports Hub Turns Into A Ghost Town Six Months After The Olympics





It used to be a busy hub filled with athletes from all over the world, but six months after it played host to the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Rosa Khutor is now reduced to a quiet, “lifeless” ghost town.



Intrigued by the current state of the small town, Russian photographer Alexander Belenkiy set out to document the abandoned infrastructure of the town—most were built especially for the games, but amenities such as hotels, restaurants and shops are only operating at a low capacity of 5%.
