In celebration of British supermodel Kate Moss’ 40th birthday and 25 years of working in the fashion industry, London-based 34 Restaurant has collaborated with artist Jane McAdam Freud to create a champagne coupe in the shape of Moss’ left breast.
Called the ‘34 Kate Moss Coupe’, the elegant product features a geometric pattern on the bowl and an engraving of her signature on the base.
This collaboration was conceived after Moss celebrated her recent birthday at the restaurant, and according to Dezeen, the restaurant got the idea from a myth on the design of the original champagne coupe—“it was supposedly shaped around the left breast of French queen Marie Antoinette”.
The coupe will be available at the restaurant and its other stores from 9 October to customers if they order champagne.
