
To make its platform as developers-friendly as possible, Facebook has introduced ‘Developers Live’, an app that’s a curated video channel of tutorials, keynotes and other informative news.
Developers Live is a “place to learn about the latest tools and to get access to the produce managers and engineers who created them”, according to Giselle Schmitz of Developer Marketing at Facebook on the Developer Blog.
The channel is aimed mainly at mobile and game app developers, and website managers and publishers.
Facebook hopes that the app would encourage communication between its team and developers out there, and teach its audience on how to make better content for the web, and how to use the platform to maximize their profits.
The first live, recoded session will debut on 19 February, with Facebook’s Director of Platform Product, Doug Purdy, as the speaker—who will be discussing what mobile, gaming and web developers need to be thinking about this year.
